PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT: Infor OS V11.1 Product Lifecycle

Product Update:

Infor is moving the following on-premises product versions to sustaining maintenance on March 1, 2021:
Infor Federation Services (IFS) v11.1.x and previous versions
Infor Ming.le™ v11.1.x and previous versions
Infor ION v11.1.x and previous versions
Infor Document Management (IDM) v11.1.x and previous versions
Why is this change being made?

Microsoft® is retiring support for Microsoft Silverlight®, which is a prerequisite for all of the above-referenced product versions.

Infor OS (previously known as Infor Xi) version 11.1 was released six years ago in February 2014 and is currently under extended maintenance. Extended maintenance will continue until March 1, 2021. Mainstream maintenance is currently available for 12.x versions.

What does this mean for you?

Support for the above version 11.1 products will be moved to sustaining maintenance, effective March 1, 2021. This means you will be able to continue to access pre-existing patches, documentation, and knowledge base articles, but you will no longer receive new updates and fixes.

If you have licensed any of the products specified above, and you are on support, you will be entitled to upgrade to Infor OS version 12.x. To continue to stay updated on product lifecycle policy updates, subscribe and refer to KB article 1840010.
